TIPS AT RESTAURANTS
We have had several complaints from the wait
staffs at our restaurants that some barter members
are not tipping adequately.
Barter does not mean free food!
All sales tax, and at least 18% tip is
required in cash.
If you use the prepaid trade drafts for
employees, or your clients, please advise them of
this when you give them the certificates.
The wait staff has been advised to write the
tip amount on the back of the trade drafts.
Also if you feel the tip was not earned, write
that on the trade draft before you turn it in as
payment. I
will not loose a restaurant because of a tip.
Also as of July 1st El Tiempo will no
longer do take out orders or catering without a
2-week notice, which myself, and the management of El
Tiempo must approve.
All requests must be faxed to me with dates,
time, the number of people, etc.
NOTICE
OF INFORMATION LOSS:
We had a computer error on the server we use for accounting purposes.
All information from May 10th thru
May 31st was lost, and had to be reentered
in order for accounts to be current.
All information was reentered on June 14th.
All June information was entered June 15th
or later. I
will highlight the last reentry on your statement so
you will know where June starts.
This does not affect any trade, or cash
totals. Sorry
for any inconvenience.

Please pay close
attention to the flyer that is in your statement, the
fee structure is changing.
There are a few of you whom this change will
not affect, however, in the long run it will save
most of you money, and make it easier for us to
collect ours! Anyone who pays on time on a monthly
basis will not be changed, as long as a check is
received by the end of the month
